Work Group ProjectsExecutive Director Chris McCluskey is working with Coordinating Committee Chair David Kaufman to align the work groups with its new focus. The work groups and their chairpersons are:
- Sympton Management, Bernadette Meade, DO (VNA)
- Hospice and Palliative Care Services, Mary Valliere, MD, (UMass)
- Advance Care Planning, Lynn Hedman (St. Vincent Hospital)
- Extended Care Facilities, Sarah McGee, MD (UMass), Mary K Alexander
- Community Education, Deborah Fins, (LICSW,certified geriatric care manager). Four Work Groups constitute this umbrella work group:
• Employers, Ginny McDonald
• Funeral Directors, Chet Caswell
• Diversity, Shirley Wright, Joanne Calista
• Faith, and others as needed
Each work group chair will develop outcome measures based on the new long term goals.
