Tools We Offer

The tools Better Ending has developed to bring awareness to the importance of advance care planning include:

1. The signature 8-page brochure, A Guide for a Better Ending.
   Over 90,000 copies of the Guide have been distributed,
   including versions for African American, Vietnamese, and Spanish readers and the visually impaired.
2. Community presentations
3. Two videos, featuring families who recount their experiences with end-of-life care.
4. The Better Ending Web site, with expanded Resources for hospice and palliative care.
5. A quarterly newsletter.
6. Information sheets: Making Health Care Decisions for Others, Chronic Illness: The Long Journey
7. Radio interviews, public service announcements, TV appearances, newspaper and regional magazine articles.
